Giraffe pregnancy is about 15 months. The giraffe’s baby is tall 1 meter and 60 cm. and weigh 55 kg., i.e. 20 times less than adults.
Female giraffe bear while standing upright and one baby only. The baby after 20 minutes starts walking and sucking. It is easy beasts to eat it so the baby is hidden in bushes for a week, after that it is always next to its mum in the herd.
Babies grow 1 meter for a year and reach 2 meters and 60 cm. height.
